A great opportunity is approaching to show the foster kids of Orange County that their community cares!
The Odyssey Challenge is a fundraiser to support programs sponsored by the Eddie Nash Foundation for Foster Youth including Camp to Belong Orange County, Passports to Success: Life Skills Workshops, and the Tutoring Café.
The Odyssey Challenge will take place on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at UC Irvine.
Registration will be open from 8:00 am – 8:45 am and the events will start promptly at 9:00 am
BBQ Lunch sponsored by New York Life Insurance, Volunteers for Life will begin at 11:30am
There are two ways to participate:
· Form a New Team or
Gather 8 people and get ready for a day of fun! There is a team registration fee of $50 and each team has a fundraising goal of $1,500. We have a limited number of teams available so we suggest you register early. Your team will have a fun day competing in the same activities our Campers enjoy during their week of camp including:
- Arena Soccer
- Walleyball Challenge
- Obstacle Course
- Unholy Alliance (4-team Tug o’ War)
- Disc Golf Putt Contest
We are looking for event sponsors to help underwrite the cost of the event. Your generous sponsorship will be publically recognized at the event. In addition, we are looking for donations of beverages, water, breakfast items and snacks.
